Cape Town Cycle Tour 2026

Get ready for the ride of a lifetime! On Sunday 8 March 2026, thousands of cyclists will take to the roads for the iconic 109 km loop around the Cape Peninsula in the Cape Town Cycle Tour.

Starting from the historic Grand Parade, the route weaves past rugged mountains and dramatic ocean cliffs, sweeps down world-famous roads like Chapman’s Peak and climbs the test-piece of Suikerbossie, before finishing in vibrant Green Point.

With the roads closed, crowds cheering and Cape Town’s scenery on full display, it’s a spectacle for riders and spectators alike — whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply out to enjoy the ride.

• Only human-powered bikes; no e‑bikes or motor assistance
