Belly of the Beast is a refined yet adventurous tasting-menu-only restaurant in the heart of Cape Town, helmed by chefs Anouchka Horn and Neil Swart.
With only 30 seats, the experience is deeply personal — from the open kitchen, the chefs cook and serve each dish themselves, inviting diners into a seamless culinary performance.
The menu changes every six to eight weeks and draws on nose-to-tail and fin-to-gill sustainable sourcing, using every part of the ingredient. Diners are encouraged to arrive with open minds, as some dishes challenge boundaries while remaining balanced and satisfying.
