Zevenwacht Restaurant: contemporary continental cuisine served in the restored Cape Dutch manor with lake and garden views. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner; reservations via Dineplan.

Picnics

Vegetarian Basket (serves two) | R 650: A fresh, seasonal selection of breads, local cheeses, salads, and vegetarian-friendly snacks, served with spreads and sweet treats.

Manor House Picnic Basket (serves two) | R 700: A gourmet assortment of cold meats, cheeses, fresh breads, salads, preserves, and dessert bites — ideal for a classic lakeside picnic.

Kids Basket (serves one child) | R 110: A fun, child-friendly picnic including a mini pizza, juice, and a selection of sweet treats.

Braai Picnic Basket (serves two) | R 700: All essentials for a traditional South African braai — marinated meats, sides, rolls, condiments, and firewood ready for the estate’s braai area.

Picnic Policies

• Booking is required to secure a picnic basket.
• No outside food, wine or beverages may be brought in.
• Cooler boxes are not permitted.
• Picnic service typically runs from 12h00 to 17h00 in the season.

Child Friendly Policy

Child friendly: Child-friendly estate with open lawns and picnic areas. Kids can enjoy a Kids Basket (sliders, nuggets, juice, brownie) or a Kiddies Tasting (milk, pizza, chocolates). A children’s menu is also available at the restaurant.

Weather Experience: Most experiences, including picnics and trail walks, are outdoors. Wine tastings, cellar tours, restaurant dining, and spa treatments remain available in all weather.

Reservation Policies

• For wine tastings and cellar tours: Booking is essential. The tasting page states “Cellar Tours … Booking essential.”

• For the restaurant: Reservations are made via the “Book Now” button onthe website and walk‑ins are less reliable; pre‑booking is advised for dinner and busy times.

• For the restaurant: A 10 % service charge is added for groups of 6 or more.

• For tastings/food service: The kitchen closes at 16h00 for food service in the tasting area.
